We talk a lot about crochet braids on the blog, for many reasons, for one it is a very convenient protective style, it is versatile and so many of the women we follow have found creative ways to do them.
Sadora is one of my favorite vloggers, she has been sporting a shaped TWA for awhile now, she is comfortable with her hair but from time to time she will add hair to give it a little flair.
Once we watched the video we realized why she did not need hot water. For one the type of hair she chose was naturally curly, she did not need a lot of it, and her changes were subtle.
What you will need
100% Kinky curly hair
Latch hook
A little gel
She crochets the hair to each braid and then uses her shears to shape and style the added hair the way she wants over her forehead and face.
This is so easy to do even for the most amateur crochet braid individual like myself. Her technique reminds me of clip ins without the commitment to purchasing an expensive set. In other words just crochet the areas of your hair you want to add length to.
This is definitely not an attempt at a protective style but rather just another way to add some style to your hair.
