I had such a fun time shooting with Laura for her amazing boutique Olive. I love boutiques because you can find things made by artisans and designers that you can’t find in big chain stores, and Olive definitely has that! There are a ton of designers and artisans that I just want to splurge on in her store! I even snagged myself a pair of linen Liz Claiborne pants from the 80s…score!!! You can find Olive here in Austin or shop her boutique online. Here’s a little more about Olive.
Olive features a stock of artful independent design with everyday dressing in mind.
Photographer and stylist, Laura Uhlir launched Olive in 2012 with aims of sharing a passion for smart design and classic vintage. Effortless dressing — think: elevated basics, fun prints, easy day dresses, classic jeans and smart jewelry — is championed at Olive. Well-worn denim, simple shifts, soft sweaters, buttery leather and silky blouses are often features in Olive’s hand picked vintage stock. In mixing both new and vintage Olive opens the door to creative dressing.
This artful thread is carried through to a selection of small-batch apothecary, home goods and accessories as well.
