Honey dipper in a honey jar
Have you heard about the benefits of using honey on your hair? Not only is honey sweet, it has a variety of helpful uses. It’s considered an antioxidant and even has a healing effect on wounds, burns, and infections.
For hair it can help with a number of issues such as thinning, balding or adding sheen to dull hair. I love it because it’s a humectant that does a superb job of locking in moisture and making my hair soft. An easy way to include honey in your hair regimen is with this moisturizing hair spritz.

Here’s what you need:

1/2 cup water (you can always add more later)
1/2 cup aloe vera gel
1 tsp honey
2 or 3 drops of the essential oil of your choice. (I like to use Rosemary, Peppermint or Lavender)

Here’s what you do:

Combine ingredients in spray bottle. Mix well. Apply to hair as needed.
You can keep this spritz in the fridge for a few days, don’t keep for more than a week.
