Always Be Creating // The Mantra That Will Change the Direction of Your Life

Ismail oubarka | 3:46 AM
I've been practicing the law of attraction for over a decade. Over the course of those 10 years, I've tried out a bunch of different LOA techniques.  Some just seem to work better for me than others.  I'd like to share one of my favorite methods with you today.

The tactic I'm referring to is pretty simple. So simple that it's very easy to forget.  When I do forget to apply this method, I often find that things quickly go south. I clearly recall the first time I ever realized the importance of this technique.  It was during a time when it seemed like everything that could go wrong, was.  For weeks, my mind was consumed with replaying every detail of the undesirable situations that invaded my life.

Then, one day out of the blue.  I decided to try something different.
I was driving around mindlessly going over each of my current problems. Suddenly, I snapped out of it and asked myself "how do I want things to be?"

Although it wasn't easy, I dedicated the rest of my drive to verbally and mentally detailing the way I wanted things to be.  Suddenly, I felt a huge feeling of relief.  This soon turned into elation as I fantasized about my life if my current circumstances were different.  Before I knew it, things seemed to slowly shift as more and more of my desires turned into reality.

Ever since then, I've applied this technique countless times.  Each time, I always seem to experience favorable results.

Since then, I've named this practice "always be creating."

Something powerful happens when we shift our attention away from what is happening to what we desire.  This simple shift alone is enough to raise our vibration.  And, according to the law of attraction, we attract people and circumstances in our lives according to our level of vibration.  Obviously, when we're focusing on everything that's going wrong, we are vibrating at a low level.  This puts us in the position to attract more unwanted situations into our lives.  It's a losing battle.

But, when I began to think solely about what I wanted to experience, I started to use the power of intention.

At that point, the entire direction of my life shifted.  It's kinda like driving without putting our hands on the steering wheel.  If your alignment is off, your call will start to veer in one direction.  When we focus only on the negative, we're allowing our lives to veer off course.  Verbalizing your ideal situation is like putting your hands back on the steering wheel and navigating the car back to where it needs to be.
My advice that I want you to remember long after you read this post is to "always be creating."

Creation first begins with our thoughts.  I'll give you a simple example.  Let's say that you want to experience a mini getaway at the end of the month.  What's the first step to making this happen?  The first step is wanting.  The desire to experience a getaway weekend is the seed that allows the entire experience to manifest.  Because our thoughts are so critical to the manifestation process, we must free our mental space for thoughts that are creative in nature.

Now I'm constantly reminding myself to reflect on ideal outcomes versus current struggles.  Even if you aren't sure that this method actually works, you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.  At the very least, you'll find it more enjoyable to daydream about what you desire versus spending countless hours dwelling on unfavorable circumstances.

Thoughts are the DNA that gives birth to manifestations. We have to be very diligent to harness in and take full control of what we think about. As you replay ideal scenarios in your head over and over again, you'll soon start to develop ideas on how to make that vision a reality.

Phase II of the "always be creating" technique is to actively take action that moves you away from your current circumstance.  Sometimes we tend to dwell on and complain about the way things are and take zero steps to alter the situation.  Whenever things aren't going well, turn your focus towards taking one action that moves you in the direction of where you want to go.  I've gotten very good at ignoring current circumstances in order to place all of my attention on how to transform the situation for the better.  Dwelling on what is currently happening is not that effective because current results are the bi-product of our thoughts & actions from the past.  It's now time to think about moving towards a new future.
